On April 22nd (weather permitting), we will be setting sail for Port Stephens, Lord Howe Island, Vanuatu, the Solomon Isalnds and then returning to Australia- possibly via the Louisiade Archipelago of Papua New Guinea. We plan to return to Sydney by approximately the end of October. Hopefully, this time we will still have our mast!
Well, we have less than a month to go and heaps to do- both on the boat and sorting out as many of our bills (in advance) as possible. Handling the requirements of the Tax Office is a major challenge (the Tax Office will not do anything in advance) and indeed is the major stumbling block to being out of the country for six months! In our absence our daughter Bernadette will be "house sitting".

The crew will be Dave Kerr (skipper), Penelope Kerr (First Mate), Paul Finucane (crew) and William Kerr (crew). William will leave in late June as he is heading off to Borneo as a volunteer, teaching English in Bario, a highland village. Paul is leaving us in August to return to Australia.
